Job Profile
The InfoSec Analyst - Trainee is part of the InfoSec team and will play a supporting role in the team.
The InfoSec Analyst - Trainee will work closely with the Team Leader and the other team members on a number of activities that help the InfoSec team to provide the highest-quality Information Security services and recommendations to the rest of the Euronext organisation.
Activities may include: the preparation of various documents - such as Risk Assessments, Operational Guides, or weekly reports - for the InfoSec Architecture Manager or other team members.
The InfoSec Analyst – Trainee will also liaise with other teams to ensure security-related requests are actioned, and to obtain up-to-date and reliable information that may be relevant for our service provision.
The InfoSec Analyst – Trainee will also design Security Solutions that meet business requirements while protecting Euronext data and technology assets; develop standards and procedures; and define, review and implement new security controls.
Key Accountabilities
The main responsibilities of the InfoSec Analyst - Trainee are to:
- Create high- and low-level security designs and solutions to feed into projects and initiatives for both IT and Business departments
- Review proposed designs with other InfoSec teams, and provide recommendations to ensure compliance.
- Assess risks and recommend mitigations.
- Research, evaluate, design, test, recommend the implementation of new or updated information security hardware or software and analyze impact on the existing environment.
- Develop InfoSec standards and guidelines that support the Global InfoSec Policy and InfoSec Architecture.
- Protect Euronext data and technology assets.
- Support technical projects and coordinate vendors.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
The applicant is expected to have the following skills and experience on appointment:
- Engineering or Computer Science Degree
- Awareness of modern security technology would be an advantage
- Knowledge of evolving Infosec threats and risk management would be an advantage
- Problem-solving ability: the role may involve identification and resolution of security-related issues.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese. Speaking another European language would be a plus.
- Skilled user of Microsoft Office Tools to produce high-quality documentation
- Ability to prepare documents, reports and presentations by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information.
- Work well within a multicultural team and also be confident enough to approach and work with other teams across organizational boundaries.
- Keen to learn and to develop their own skills, while contributing to the overall team effort.
- Ability to keep calm and perform to the highest standard under pressure.
- Ability to work in a self-sufficient manner seeking guidance when real obstacles occur.
