HR Generalist @ Stefanini Portugal

Stefanini EMEA is hiring a HR Generalist Admin to join our internal team dedicated to Portugal and Spain locations. We are considering candidates based anywhere in Portugal.
Primary purpose of this position: To provide an effective and efficient Human Resource service working in a multi-site environment.   

Key roles and duties:
•    Provide day to day support and HR advice to Managers/Team Leaders in a multi-site environment.
•    Ensure compliance and implementation of local and corporate policies, procedures and legal requirements under employment laws.         
•    To provide advice and guidance on employment legislation, ensuring that managers adhere to current procedures and policies. 
•    Advising managers on HR/staffing/disciplinary issues and actions.
•    Support local management in performance and training.
•    Administer appraisal, compensation and benefit programmes.  
•    To prepare offer letters, contracts of employment, agreements for all new employees and that all necessary paperwork is signed and completed prior to joining.
•    To conduct the necessary induction process for all new employees.
•    To ensure that all HR records are maintained, and changes are communicated to ensure that HR databases and kept up to date.
•    To monitor and manage employee sickness absences.
•    Administration of payroll.
•    Support for all issues and coordination of contingent workers
•    Visit employees/contingent workers on client sites when required
•    Conduct employee exit interviews for leavers.

Job requirements:
•    Previous experience in a similar role.
•    Strong Portuguese labor laws and legislation knowledge.
•    Demonstrable expertise in HR best practice, policies and procedures.
•    Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion.
•    Fluent spoken and written Portuguese and English (Spanish as nice-to-have).
