Perfil ideal

• Advanced working knowledge of Linux is required
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a technical support role is required
• Hands-on technical experience with Hadoop
• Experience with cluster monitoring tools like Ambari, Ganglia or Zabbix
• Candidates with a working knowledge of Core Java within a Hadoop environment are desired
• Good understanding of OS concepts, process management and resource scheduling
• Basics of networking, CPU, memory and storage
• Good hold of shell scripting
• A knack of all the components in the Hadoop ecosystem like Apache Pig, Apache Hive, Apache Mahout, etc

Responsabilidades

• Implementing, managing and administering the overall Hadoop infrastructure
• Working closely to with other technical teams: database, network, BI and applications
• Capacity planning and estimating requirements to adjust Hadoop platform to demand
• Monitoring Hadoop connectivity and performance
• Backup and recovery tasks
• Resource and security management
• General Hadoop troubleshooting
