GIS Senior Consultant (m/f) - Luxembourg

Our client is looking for a GIS Senior Consultant (m/f), for Luxembourg. It can be remote during the COVID period.

Required Profile:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with a specialisation in Geographical Information Science;
•Minimum 9 years of relevant studies and experience after secondary school;
•Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in professional application of GIS, geographical data processing, spatial analysis;
•Minimum 3 years of experience with GIS tools and technologies relevant for the tasks;
•Experience with geographical data quality concepts (level of detail, scale, topological consistency, timeliness, etc.);
•Experience with geographical data transformation methods (Automated generalization and Edge matching);
•Experience with GIS Software (GDAL, FME, PostGIS, ArcGIS and QGIS);
•Experience with GIS data manipulation and transformation scripting libraries (Java, Python, Shapely, ArcPy);
•Knowledge of Git;
•Knowledge of GIS metadata standards;
•Ability to work in English (Fluent).
