What are you going to do?

• Architect and enable a platform to provide high-quality data for business;
• Define a standard BI framework to meet the enterprise's current and long-term data requirements;
• Contributing to Functional Safety Concept definition and developing system, software safety requirements for automotive embedded systems;
• Performing Safety Plan, Preliminary Hazard Analysis, Safety Requirements, and Safety Analysis including DFMEA, FMEDA, FTA and DFA, and Safety Verification and Validation activities;
• Contributing to System Safety Analysis (e.g. FMEA, FTA);
• Supporting the creation of Software Architecture (FuSa relevant parts);
• Preparing safety documentation for Software releases;
• Solving design and functional anomalies;
• Ensuring the functional safety of the released product;
• Collaborating with Functional Safety team and Software Development Team;
• Following company standards, international safety standards and development process;
• Supporting the creation of functional safety documentation according ISO 26262;
• Specify detailed safety requirements, including diagnostic and software requirements;
• Conducting reviews and audits with Software Development teams to ensure functional safety standards are being met throughout product development cycles;
• Supporting teams with safety problem solving.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science or a similar field;
• 1 year of experience in the field of safety engineering;
• 5 years of experience in product development Software area, ideally in automotive safety related products;
• Knowledge of the Products Development Life Cycle with respect to Software Development;
• Detailed knowledge and experience with ISO 26262;
• Knowledge and on job experience with Functional Safety Theory;
• Having a safety certification is a plus;
• Awareness of the compliance models which are relevant to the Electronics and software;
• Familiarity with WCCA tools (Mathcad), schematic capture tools (CADENCE / MENTOR / ZUKEN / ALTIUM), circuit simulation tools (PSPICE/LTSPICE/ HSPICE);
• Strong interpersonal and communicational skills;
• Written and verbal communication skills in English.
