A day in Ubiwhere as a Fullstack Developer:

• Design and Implementation of REST APIs (in Ruby) with Ruby on Rails;
• Design and modelling of databases and data models in web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails;
• Vast knowledge of web development basics such as HTML5, Javascript, CSS;
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages;
• Optional but appreciated experience with React-Native;
• Software components Setup and Integration (with VMs and Docker);
• Definition and Documentation of Software Architectures for the Web;
• Technical meetings, in English, in person, and/or remote.

What you’ll need: 

• Degree in Computer Science or similar;
• Experience on developing solutions that take into account availability and scalability;
• At least 1 year of professional experience with common server-side technologies and frameworks based either on Ruby or Python;
• Knowledge about client-server protocols such as REST, OAuth and Websockets;
• Experience with Version Control Systems – preferably Git;
• Experience with database management systems such as MySQL and NoSQL databases;
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture (optional);
• Knowledge in Docker (optional);
• Critical thinking and problem-solving orientation;
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments;
• Experience in R&D Projects is a plus;
• Good writing skills in English.
