What you will be doing:

• Deliver secure by design, tested software that implements user stories/spec to a high quality
• Work in an Agile, CI/CD model delivering rapidly into integration and production
• Produce engaging user interfaces backed by high quality code to ensure an excellent user experience
• Where necessary to support the UX, develop small micro services or server-less code
• Ensure high separation of concerns between UX and other tiers, developing and utilising supporting services as needed
• Collaborate with different stakeholders
• Collaborate with vendors to understand their product and get best use from it
• Update Agile tools with progress on current activity.
• Provide accurate effort estimates to produce high quality work.

What we are looking for:

• Ability to build user interfaces using JavaScript, vue or react js
• Knowledge in HTML and CSS
• Experience with automated UX testing and able to point to specific technologies used and benefits gained
• Consuming services through RESTful APIs
• Experience with CI/CD technologies
• Experience with Amazon Web Services Cloud
• Experience with OWASP security principles. Understanding of basic cloud security principles. Overall, appreciation of developing secure software and how to apply that to daily work
• Knowledge in AWS lambda
• Experience in utilising light weight (possibly in memory) databases where necessary
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or similar
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

What will be a plus:

• Node.js knowledge.
