Do you want to become a Frontend Developer on a startup to disrupt real estate? Great! We are looking for a new frontend developer to be part of our Brixel team.

Responsibilities

You will be an important part of our development team. You are responsible for high coding standards, great team work and you will play a relevant role in building high quality digital products. If you are motivated to push yourself to the next level and become our frontend developer in a fast growing and moving startup company, you should definitely apply.

• Have around 2/3 years experience, preferably in large scale applications, working with technologies such as VueJS, React or Angular (latest versions) - We are aiming towards VueJS with ES6

• Experience with TDD, Unit Tests and Integration Tests - Preferably with Jasmine and Cypress

• Extensive experience with HTML and CSS (we use SASS)

• Experience using and configuring build and automation tools such as Babel, Webpack

• Knowledgeable about security for Frontend applications

• Knowledgeable about SEO best practices

• Experience integrating and developing with 3rd party services such as Google Maps, D3, Transifex, Intercom and others

• Experience with complex CSS/JS animations is a plus

• Software revision control tools such as Git are normal tools

• Have a passion for good UX and Usability

• Are familiar with Scrum / Agile methodologies

Additional Requirements

Very good english skills is a must and knowledge in german is a plus. Any other languages you speak? Great let us know, we want to learn it too.

Other Infos

Brixel is based in Zurich and Lisbon. We would prefer someone who is also based in Lisbon but this can be a fully remote position! But be ready to travel to Zurich and other european destinations since we are an international company. We will pay for your travel and accommodation cost. We also offer flexible vacation and working hours.
