Front-End Web Developer - 2020/04

Watt-IS is a data analytics startup company focused on delivering energy efficiency to households and SMEs through the application of intelligent and self-learning data analytics tools. We’re looking for a talented Front-End Web Developer to work on a part-time basis (remote work is possible) in our Ruby on Rails frontend and micro-services event-sourced architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new functionalities for existing and new projects
• Maintain existing and new projects
• Develop technical specifications based on functional requirements

Technical skills:

• Experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS
• Ability to integrate web services (RESTful, JSON)
• Experience with Ruby on Rails

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Possibility to work in a remote or a mixed remote/presential environment
