Randstad Professionals is specialized in the recruitment of middle and senior positions. Our client is a company that provides solutions for the textile industry, and they are looking to integrate a Firmware Engineer in their teams.

descrição da função/job description
- Develop and implement firmware for industry specific hardware.
- Plan, design, and develop software for test jigs and other devices such as IMUs, temperature and humidity sensors.
- Conduct thorough testing on produced products, and troubleshoot defective products.
- Conduct testing on new solutions that will be applied to new products.
- Collaborate with the software team to implement the developed APIs on the leading product architecture.
- Create reports for all the firmware developed and maintain it up to date.

requisitos/requirements
- Master degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering (or similar)
- Good firmware engineering skills including design, programming (using C, C++), scripting (Python) and debugging (required)
- Knowledge of Linux
- Knowledge of best practices in firmware/software development
- Familiar with microcontroller and/or microprocessor architectures
- Experience with version control software tools (Git)
- Knowledge of the electronic device development (any of the following: testing, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
