eyenov is looking for a passionate C & GO developer who enjoys working on the latest live video technology including FFmpeg and CMAF, to work on a video encoder software that is developed with the FFmpeg libraries to generate a low latency CMAF stream. This software is being used on our client’s hardware encoders as well as their efficient cloud encoder. 

You’ll work from our open-space office in the Lisbon area, but you can opt to work remotely some of the days of the week. Some of our perks and benefits include:

You will lead the development and maintenance of the project hardware and cloud video encoder software. The client has an ambitious roadmap with new features for which they could really use your help. Your contribution will be used by all our client’s customers to ensure efficient low latency live streaming. You will work closely together with our client’s CMS and video player developers that rely on your work.

Skills:

• Experienced C developer
• Familiarity with the FFmpeg libraries
• 5 or more years of professional software development experience
• Experience with the Go programming language is a pre
• Interest in building applications using streaming video
• A born collaborator, you value communication and sharing knowledge. You also work well in a team setting and like to achieve common goals & objectives
• You're comfortable making precise and informed technical decisions autonomously
• You're able to transfer your experience and knowledge to junior team members
• Proficient in spoken and written English
