Mission

Altran is looking for a EPC Domain Architect who will:

• Support to Customer projects on design and engineering activities for Advanced Mobile solutions, mainly focused in LTE, VoWiFi and similar end-to-end Solution
• Support to the definition of the design methodologies and generic network engineering in collaboration with other teams within SBU, especially PLM of Services.
• Sharing and transfer of knowledge to/from the colleagues in other SBU teams, and the ION community in RBC (Regional Business Center).

Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications;
• Experience in IP networks (R&D, Architecture and network deployment);
• Expertise in LTE networks / Core Package design, integration or support;
• Virtualization skills are also very important in the current network transformation: Linux, KVM, Hypervisors (openstack, vmware), VNF configuration and management (scale-IN/OUT, healing);
• Knowledge of all or part of the set of protocols for IP/MPLS: IGP, BGP, RSVP, LDP, and others and Mobile networks related interfaces and protocols 2G-3G-4G IP certifications in one or more suppliers (Nokia SRC, Cisco, Juniper) are highly recommended, priority given to Nokia SRC certification.
• Teamwork spirit, participation and facilitation of working groups and presentations, good interpersonal skills for customer services are also expected skills.
• Fluent English (both spoken and written).
