As a technology specialist, you will provide support in defining Cloud solutions. You will drive valuable customer workload/application outcomes using Akamai Cloud Compute products and services.

As an Enterprise Cloud Solutions Engineer, your responsibilities include:

•    Supporting cloud compute opportunities as a technology specialist and ensuring long-term customer success.
•    Breaking down application components and determining how to leverage various technologies available in modern cloud services.
•    Assisting customers in building service-oriented architectures, web services, and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
•    Collaborating with enablement groups in Akamai Cloud Compute, Security, and Delivery technology stacks to tackle enterprise workload challenges.

In order to succeed in this role, you should:

•    Possess at least 4 years of relevant experience and hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent.
•    Have previous experience in a customer-facing technical role with a public cloud or cloud software company.
•    Experience in working with large-scale, cloud-based applications, including cloud architecture, implementation leadership, and strategizing complex Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions for customers.
•    Hold a professional or associate architect level certification from AWS, GCP, or Azure.
•    Exhibit in-depth hands-on skills in two or more of the following domains: Cloud computing (IaaS), containers, container orchestration (Kubernetes), auto-scaling, advanced deployment models and others.
•    Expertise in cloud computing is essential.
•    Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
•    Fluency in English is mandatory.
