We are looking for an End User Computing Engineer for a project based in Lisbon, Porto, Viseu or remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of over 170 Desktop app releases (Windows 10, Office 365, MS Teams, various web browsers etc)
  • Liaison with 256 Service Owners concerning their relevant IT services.
  • Defining hardware standards (Desktop, Laptop, Mac, Mobile, Tablet, Accessories, Meeting rooms, printers, etc)
  • Lifecycle management of all devices (not including servers).
  • Management of App Stores ( (180 Apps), Apple Store, Google Store)
  • Field documentation in the FineDoc
  • Software Asset Management (SAM)
  • Follow and Build the budget of software licenses
  • Printing Services
  • Out of Catalog process ownership
  • Deployment Management Process
  • Stay current on projects relating to Desktop Apps or having an impact on Devices
  • Field Communication
  • Win10 strategy, security GPO, versioning
  • Office strategy, settings, security
  • Technical testing of apps, workstations and accessories as required

 
Skills required:

  • Four-year degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field, or the equivalent in education and experience.
  • Three or more years performing as a subject matter expert in implementation, administration and support in at least one of following technical areas:
    • Windows image design, build, and management;
    • Desktop/laptop/tablet OS and core image build processing using tools such as MDT and SCCM;
    • Application software installation, customization and distribution to a Windows environment;
    • Desktop policy architecture and environment management;
    • Enterprise printing solutions and support;
    • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure administration and support;
    • Hardware lifecycle management using Service-NOW or related tool;
    • Software Asset Management and licensing
