Our client is recruiting an Embedded Software Engineer for the new team they are creating in Porto.

You will be working in diverse Software and IoT team that contributes to reshaping the food
industry by building web and mobile apps to.

• Monitor, automate and control vertical farms to provide the highest quality crops;
• Support the logistics of operations along with the crops life cycle;
• Monitor the quality of the crops to drive operational improvements.

Description

• Develop firmware for controllers based on Cortex-M MCUs;
• Participate in the definition, implementation and maintenance of the technical vision of the embedded software;
• Deploy production code while maintaining performance and a stable system.worldwide.

Profile

• You're excited about the vision to reshape the food industry;
• You thrive in an environment where you can take ownership and solve hard;
• You have comprehensive knowledge of C/C++ for embedded systems;
• You have a good understanding of electronics;
• Experience with RTOS and bare-metal;
• Experience interfacing with sensors are actuators;
• Experience with MQTT and other IoT communication protocols;
• Experience with low power devices;
• Experience with radio technologies like, BLE, LoRA, etc.
• Knowledge of Go / Rust programming languages is a plus;
• Experience with industrial automation languages is a plus.
