Embedded Software Engineer for Airbag (m/f)

Location: Braga

Bosch is becoming one of the world’s leading companies in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT). At the Bosch in Braga, more than 350 engineers develop car multimedia solutions and the most innovative localization, perception and safety sensors that are helping to shape connected and autonomous mobility. Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for an Embedded Software Engineer for Airbag. You will be part of development team for the Airbag platform, a highly configurable base used by more than 50 customers. You will take responsibility as technical lead of a new team in your location in Braga and support its growth (technical mentoring and coaching). You will work in an international agile environment with Germany and India.

Main responsibilities:- Developing embedded SW components for our new generation System-ASI.Design and code fulfills the quality requirements regarding efficiency,  maintainability, and configurability,
- Span the complete V-model from requirements engineering, architecture and design to coding and test on SIL and HIL, by using state-of-the-art methods and tools.
- Support customer projects in technical clarifications and solutions regarding the usage of your components in their product. 
- Contribute to a distributed system development team with locations in Europe, India, China, Japan, and USA.

Profile requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience in embedded SW development with knowledge in HW-dependent functions and busses (e.g. SPI, drivers of sensors of actuators, real-time functions, etc.). You will need to have.

- Knowledge in model-based SW development with UML. You will need to have very good knowledge in embedded C-programming and preferably C++
- Experience with Tools like Doors NextGen, Rational Team Concert and Rhapsody.
- Fluency in English is important for this position. Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or comparable.
