Our client is looking to build a new prototyping team in its competence centre in Porto. We look forward to expand the team with a new Embedded Software Engineer.

Principais responsabilidades

• Explore the uncharted Internet of Light business being part of the Innovation team;
• Investigate new/emerging technologies, innovations and opportunities and increase company kbnowledge;
• Develop concepts into commercially viable product offerings that fit the current and future product portfolio;
• Assist in the handover of developed concept to R&D team;
• Design and develop high quality software, using modern concepts (e.g. Stateless Protocols, EDD, etc);
• Contribute to the design & implementation of functional and non-functional requirements within an Agile team;
• Ideate patentable concepts in line with Innovation strategy.

Perfil desejado

• You are an engineer in computer sciences with knowledge in electronics;
• You have excellent research skills and are able to identify relevant data sources for information about emerging technologies;
• You must have experience in embedded software development (C/C++) and knowledge in OOP;
• You also have experience in RTOS and FPGA programming languages as well as software architecture and design;
• You have knowledge of communication technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT, COAP, IPV6, Bluetooth, SPI, I2C,...)
