Aubay Portugal is a multinational French company, in Portugal since 2007. What are you going to do?

• Designing cost effective and robust HW solutions to meet customer requirements;
• Collaborative work with mechanical, firmware, EMC, RF, design validation, thermal design, compliance, reliability, and manufacturing test engineers;
• Start to finish ownership of circuit board electronics – from specification through design, prototype, validation, and manufacturing;
• Verifying electrical requirements at component and bench level testing;
• Leading Hardware-Software Interface discussions;
• Performing complex work assignments requiring independent problem solving and decision making, requiring strong firmware code implementation;
• Working on assignments primarily involve senior/advanced level functional test code development.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering;
• Experience in selection and use of DSPs, microcontrollers, and programmable logic devices;
• Experience designing digital communication busses (CAN, Ethernet, RS-485, USB, SPI, I2C, etc.);
• Experience implementing wireless communication features (cellular, Wi-Fi);
• Experience in selection and use of analog sensors and signal conditioning circuits;
• Experience designing board level power supplies (buck, boost, flyback, etc.);
• Experience in supervision of PCB layout, plane definition, and EMC optimization;
• Proficiency with basic EE tools (scopes, network analyzers, etc.);
• Medium to high volume DFT and DFM;
• Experience with high voltage circuit designs;
• Experience with charging standards such as J1772, Chademo, and ChaoJi;
• Experience with Worst Case Analysis Circuit;
• Experienced with the operation and usage of Vector CANoe / CANalyzer;
• Able to interface with internal/external customers and component suppliers;
• Experience in ISO26262 designs;
• Experience with RF technologies such as BT, WIFI, antenna design and other wireless technologies in the market, as well as their design and validation;
• Experience with RF measurement equipment (vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator);
• Knowledge on RF Electronics and RF measurement standards;
• Must be open to learn, design and manage new applications;
• Advanced English level.
