You develop concepts, architectural solutions, and implementations for E-Mobility communication protocols with a focus on protocols for charging infrastructure management and control.
You work closely with business partners and support them to mature their offerings by adapting E-Mobility protocol technologies for diverse platforms and use cases.

Description

You are responsible to maintain 'over the horizon' awareness of technological developments in the areas of E-Mobility communication protocols.
You advance the state-of-the-art in the field, including generating patents and publications in top journals and conferences.
You initiate and lead innovation projects in collaboration with business and academic partners and participate in the relevant standardization activities.

Profile

You have successfully completed your master's degree and/or PhD's in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics or engineering sciences.
You have experience with C++ software development, specifically with C++ 11 and CMake.
Expertise in working on Open Source and/or Inner Source projects is a plus.
If you have several years of experience in development, on a professional context, it would be a plus.
You have experience with software engineering technologies and tools (e.g., Git, GitLab, PCLint).
You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
You show strong willingness and ability to rapidly acquire new skills and domain knowledge, initiative in taking on challenges, and a strong achievement drive and perseverance.
Very good English language skills.
