Develop and implement Cloud Solutions

This is a hybrid Porto-based opportunity

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working for Client - a leader in corporate and investment banking. You will be responsible for developing and implementing Private Cloud, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery solutions for the IT teams.

Your main responsibilities: Develop public Cloud features

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders
• Automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining code and analysing results
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• At least 4 to 5 years experience as a  DevOps Engineer or related role
• Knowledge of Python and Terraform
• Experience with git, linux and Windows
• Good experience with at least one of the Public Cloud providers: AWS, GCP or Azure
• Experience with unit tests
• DevOps mindset (CI/CD)
• Experience with Jenkins
• Good level of English, at least B2
• Good communication skills
• Good interrelationship skills
• Good troubleshoot skills

Will be an advantage if you have:

• XL Deploy is a plus
• XL Release is a plus
• French knowledge
