What you will be doing:

As a DevOps Engineer you will work closely with the delivery team to define continuous delivery approach, availability metrics, define acceptance criteria and implement the deployment pipelines to support the delivery of change into production. You will be responsible for:

• Design, build and support the infrastructure to support applications and systems
• Support CI/CD tooling for technical teams to be able to build and deploy using pipelines
• Look to develop strategies and improvements around cost optimization and usage reporting
• Collaborate with Development Teams where code changes are required to resolve defects and ensure services are released into production in a controlled manner
• Support our ambitious delivery plans using technology to automate solutions and optimize outcomes, supporting continuous integration and deployment in a challenging and fast paced environment.

What we are looking for:

• Several years of experience working as DevOps Engineer
• Solid background in working with AWS (Amazon Web Services) with services such as:
  • ECS, ECR and EC2
  • Lambdas
  • SNS and  SQS
  • IAM, ELB, VPC and Security Group
  • Cloud Watch & Cloud Front
  • Terraform / CloudFormation
• Experience with Maven and Docker
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban)
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar.

What will be a plus:

• Background using and building pipelines with Jenkins and Gitlab
• Experience programming with Java 10 and Kotlin
• Experience with Spring Boot Framework
  • Background in working with Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Security and Spring MVC
• Experience working with Microservices architecture.
