What you'll be doing:

• Being part of the team responsible for building the hardware, network, storage and compute aspects of the platform

• Developing Ansible playbooks and roles to automate infrastructure deployments, maintenance and migrations

• Automating the provisioning of bare-metal servers using hardware provisioning tools such as MAAS

• Deploying and managing multiple production-grade Kubernetes and Ceph clusters on bare-metal servers

• Automating the configuration of the network and BGP routing protocol

• Administrating Linux servers running in multiple data centers

• Helping other teams with the monitoring and logging solutions

• Building CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure testing, releases and deployments

• Troubleshooting and identifying root causes of various issues across the stack and implementing fixes

• Adopting a mindset of continuously improving our processes and methodologies

What we'll expect from you:

• Mid/Senior level experience as a DevOps Engineer building production systems

• Familiarity with Chef, Ansible and/or Puppet or any other configuration management tool

• Familiarity with Kubernetes is a must

• Operational familiarity with Linux servers

• Ability to support the SRE team when needed

• Systems design thinking

• A commitment to monitoring and observability

• Independence, ability and dedication to deliver clean, production-ready code

• Ambition and curiosity to learn and grow

• Experience with distributed network filesystems such as Ceph a big plus
