What skills do you need to have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with expertise in both AWS and Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in cloud services, including AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) and Google Cloud (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI, CircleCI).
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation using languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Relevant certifications from AWS and Google Cloud are advantageous.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to gather and refine deployment and infrastructure requirements.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on both AWS and Google Cloud.
• Configure and manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating application deployments.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation and efficiency.
• Stay updated with cloud technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior DevOps team members.
