Job Profile

Working within project teams, the Developer works closely with other development engineers, business analysts, and QA Analysts.

The selected candidates will have the opportunity to work on challenging subjects to address new functional changes to the applications (MIFID 2, Business Initiatives). These initiatives are managed using Agile methodology.

By working in an Agile Team, the candidate will work together with the Business Analyst to analyze the requirements, work with other developers to define a technical solution and implement it and work together with Quality Assurance to support all testing activities.

Key Accountabilities

• Implementing new functionalities within several components of the trading solution.
• Implement tools to support the development and maintenance of the trading solution.
• Produce technical documentation.
• Actively contribute to continuous code improvement.
• Collaborate for the overall trading system design .

• Report and escalate any topic that might block the team.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

• Higher level academic technical qualification e.g. Bachelors in Computer Science or Equivalent.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Discipline, vitality, and adaptability.
• Strong analytical, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficient working with Linux.
• Interest in financial area / trading business is a plus.
• Good knowledge of C++ (experience with templates and C++ 11 is a plus).
• Experience with other languages (Python, Flex, Bash) is a plus.
• Good knowledge of OOP paradigm.
