Our client is driving this project and we need you to further develop, maintain, and grow the design system and related internal design consultancy.

It unites technologically leading companies with more than 100 production, service and sales locations and offers its customers solutions, products, and services in the Business Areas of Digital, Logistics Systems, Pharma Systems, Tissue and Tobacco.

In 2020 the group decided to unify their branding under a single name to communicate the brand message of entrepreneurial spirit even more clearly. As part of this endeavour, the client decided to set up a Design System.

Description

• Work in close collaboration with other departments to build and deliver a world-class Industrial design system
• Drive, inspire and build up a team of designers to become an efficient design unit within the company
• Develop and own a core part of the project roadmap fuelled by a deep interest in design processes
• Continuously drive the prioritisation, testing, development, and delivery of the design system elements and new innovative features
• Continuously improve the design system through stakeholder & user feedback using design research methods
• Act as the company's thought leader around Product Design and develop processes that drive the topic forward
• Ensure the Design Governance and Design Quality of digital products

Profile

• 3+ years experience as a project manager with design experience or senior product designer with project management experience
• A demonstrated and focused desire to build products and services that customers & users love
• In-depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities of and practical experience working with Digital Product Designers
• Ability to think strategically and creatively; strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritisation and
  project management skills
• Good knowledge of design patterns and user-centred best practices
• Knowledge of contemporary Design and Project Management tools
• Fluency in English
