We are looking for a DBA SQL Server to work in a project in Lisbon (Sintra).

Responsibilities:

- 1st/2nd/3rd level support of solutions implemented for Customers;
- Collaboration on Global Projects;
- Participation in 24x7 OnCall Service;
- Daily L2 / L3 Support;
- Performance Analisys (Profiler / Extended Events / Engine Tuning Advisor);
- T-SQL development (prefered);
- SQL Agent Jobs;
- Execution Plans optimization;
- Storage Management: Add New and Extend Volumes; Volume migration between instances (Always ON environments);
- Security Management: Add/Remove Users; Proxy accounts; Operators; Linked Servers; Database mail;
- Patch Updates (Service Packs / Cumulative Updates);
- Installation and reconfiguration of new standalone instances, FCI or Always ON;
- Disaster recovery: Backup / Restore of databases;
- Upgrade / Migration of instances to newer versions;

What We Expect:

- General knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, network and backup);
- Knowledge of backup procedures and backup software (Networker, VEEAM, DataProtector);
- Knowledge of network protocols and principles;
- Experienced in Windows Server environments (Standalone and Clusters);
- Experienced in SQL Server Administration (Standalone, Cluster and Always ON);
- Versions Range: 2008 R2 – 2019.
- Good communication skills in English, oral and written;
- Willingness to learn new technologies and share ideas is necessary;
