Role:

Oversee performance, integrity and security of our databases; responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our product suite.

Profile:

• 1+ years’ experience with solid know-how in MS SQL Server 2012 or above database management, performance and maintenance;
• A graduation in Software Engineering or a related field;
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools;
• Knowledgeable in database security and information security policies;
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models;
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server;
• Familiar with Azure Storage and virtualization;
• Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory;
• Fluency in English;
• Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality
• Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
• Knowledge of the Scrum methodology is a Plus.
