Who will be your team?

You will be integrated in our IMS (Infrastructure Management Services) team where you will work with experts in database, middleware and system administration. 

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, this job position will be held remotely until further notice. We will not be 100% remote in the future however we will be flexible. Our offices are located in Almada Business Center, however this job position will be located most of the time in Alfragide.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar; 

• 5+ years of expertise in DB2 database on a LUW environment (administration/performance tuning); 

• Knowledge in Linux and Unix Systems (AIX);

• Experience working with Shell Scripting. 

• Knowledge in IBM CDC Administration is desirable, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities: 

• Administration and support for DB2 LUW:

  • Installations, Upgrades, Migrations, Backup & Recovery; 

  • Ongoing maintenance (automation, troubleshooting, performance optimization and improvement measures).

• Linux and AIX:

  • Good knowledge of Unix based Operating Systems, especially AIX, Linux and Shell Scripting.

• IBM CDC Administration (desirable):

  • Installations, Upgrades, Migrations, Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning for CDC Replications.
