As a Database Administrator, you will work on a team that owns the services that supports the scale of our business

biggest world retailers, telecommunication companies and call centers around the globe. Managing BIG Data in Real Time, BySide currently handles more than 1million calls and 5 million voice minutes per month, providing services such as click2call, call tracking, inbound calls, IVRs, etc

Principais responsabilidades

Database backup and recovery

Installation, maintenance, updates and patches of all the storage systems

Handling the transfer of data from the existing systems to new platforms

Database tuning and proper monitoring of all the systems

Capacity planning of all the storage systems

Perfil desejado

(Proven) previous experience in one of the following technologies:

MySQL / MariaDB

Apache SOLR / ElasticSearch

Nice to have:

Knowledge about big data technologies (e.g. HBase, Spark)

We value experience with:

Query profiling and tuning

Handling very large amounts of data (scaling and availability)

BS or MS degree in Computer science or equivalent experience
