Randstad Professionals is recruiting a Database Administrator, for direct integration in a client located in Porto.


descrição da função/job description
- Manage and operate solutions at the database layer following market best practices with focus on availability, performance and compliance;
- Configure, maintain and optimize databases;
- Administer backup and recovery procedures;
- Troubleshoot operational problems and root cause analysis;
- Document and report KPI’s and SLA’s;
- Participate in on-call rotation and periodic overtime.


requisitos/requirements
- Knowledge of managing and tuning common database engines like Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, CosmosDB or other No-SQL and Oracle Forms & Reports;
- Experience with High Availability Clusters (RAC / Microsoft High Availability Cluster & Always-On, …);
- Monitoring with OEM Cloud Control, Microsoft SCOM or 3rd party tools;
- Linux/Unix and Shell scripting / Windows Power Shell and automation tools like Ansible and/or Terraform;
- Cloud operation skills (Oracle and/or Azure).
