What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with clients and business analysts to translate business requirements into high-level technical requirements.
• Mentoring engineers to develop best practices, design principles and advanced technologies
• Working with practice leadership on reviewing and learning new technologies and trends
• Designing, prototyping, and implementing robust big-data solutions using best-practice agile development processes.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience as Lead Developer or Architect
• Experience in the estimation of work packages and projects
• Ability to review code in Java, Python and Javascript frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js)
• Experience in microservices-based Architecture, API design and writing API specifications
• Experience in container technologies such as Dockers and Kubernetes
• Experience in real-time analytics and streaming platforms (Spark, Kafka, etc.)
• Experience modelling and evolving complex data structures
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD delivery (Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, Gitlab or equivalent)
• Delivery experience in AWS Cloud solutions
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation and external 3rd parties/suppliers
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or similar
