Thus, we are now looking for a new Data Strategist willing to accept new challenges!

Summary:  As a Data Strategist you will be in charge to master the quality of the prioritized and critical data, by ensuring: a) the mastering of the data quality as required by the Group, in alignment with the regulations, policies, norms and standards; b) a data quality methodological support towards the Métier and locations; c) the data quality best practices deployment (policies, guidelines, operational procedures…) with the Métier and locations.

You’ll have to assist the Data Quality Analysts and monitor the progress regarding the data quality improvements, support the deployment of the new versions of the data control catalog and Group nomenclatures (Reference data), coordinate and steer the work of the Data Quality Analysts and animate their community, and Pilot and monitor the BP2S action plans to address the structural data quality issues raised by the Group and/or reported by the different BP2S domains (Risk, Finance, ALMT, Third Parties et Securities).

You’ll be leading ad hoc analysis to evaluate and improve the quality of prioritized data, coordinate or Manage the projects related to the data quality improvement (IT project, organization project, process review, goldenisation review, ...), analyze the impact of ongoing or upcoming projects on the data quality (migration of local accounting systems to OFS, implementation of a new Liquidity tool…), implement when necessary the Métier data quality assessment, ensure that the needs of Managers and Data Quality Analysts are considered by the IT (integration of new data sources, controls and KQI definition, validation of functional specifications, dashboard implementation follow-up) and challenge implementation priorities and deadlines.

You’ll also have to ensure the deployment and the update of reference frameworks between the different actors of the responsibility chain, follow the correct implementation of the control plans within the first Line of Defence, participate/Contribute to the Group and Métier data quality governance bodies (Data Operational Committee, Quality Assessment & Remediation Committees, …), while also, contributing to the Permanent Control Committees of the Métier (ICC, …)

Are you the one?

You must have…

  • English Proficiency;
  • Four or five years of higher education / Master Degree from University, Business School, or Engineering School
  • Past experience in Audit, Consulting or Project Management (minimum 3 or 5 years)
  • Good knowledge of the regulatory context regarding data in the banking industry
  • Knowledge of the financial products, credit risks, market risks, accounting data and/or regulatory reporting
  • Analytical and synthesis capabilities with the ability to think about medium/long term strategies
  • Familiar with databases/data management and IT systems
  • Knowledge of data exploration tools
