Data Scientist - Python

The focus of this role is to combines statistical and machine learning techniques with Python programming to analyze and interpret complex data and provide insights about our business. For example, provide information about the use of our platform by a client, to be provided to commercial teams when making additional sales!

Qualifications

• Experienced in working with data modeling and machine learning software
• Preprocessing the data, usually by using a mixture of shell scripts and a programming language, specifically in Python;
• Iteratively computing features and tuning parameters to improve the quality of the model;
• Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
• Experience with data visualization tools;
• Valued skills in SQL and BI SQL Technologies (SSIS, SSAS);
• Interested and passionate for big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Mahout, Pig, Hive);

Profile

• Experience with Python (academic or professional, up to 1 year);
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Ambition and Autonomy;
• Ability to work in a team and by objectives;
• Good knowledge of English;
