Sysmatch is a Portuguese company that has been on the IT market for almost 20 years. Our core business is IT Outsourcing and Software Development for the finance sector. We invest a lot of effort on our client relationships and always deliver the best candidate or product available for their need and that is the main reason behind our success!

At the moment we are looking for the following candidate:

Data Scientist  (m/f) - Porto

- BSc in Computer Science or a similar field, with a very solid Python programming experience. Scala is a plus;

-  Familiarity with the engineering aspects of some of popular machine learning practices, libraries, and platforms is considered a plus (e.g. MLflow, Kubeflow, Mleap, Michelangelo, Feast, HopsWorks, MetaFlow, Zipline, Databricks, Spark, MLlib, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn among others);

- Comfortable dealing with trade-offs project delivery and quality, especially those involving latency, throughput, and transactions;

- Proven experience in Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment processes and platforms, software design patterns and APIs;

- Fluency in English – mandatory;

-  Portuguese is considered a plus;
