What is your mission:

You will join one of our international projects in the Novabase Digital Transformation Unit (full remote or hybrid – in Lisbon or Porto) as a Data Scientist.

The main tasks for this position are:

·Leverage data and domain knowledge to solve business problems and create quantifiable value;

·Work cross-functionally to define problem statements, collect data, build analytical models, and design suitable solutions;

·Build and maintain (or lead the development of) data-driven optimization models, experiments, forecasting algorithms, and capacity constraint models;

·Lead teams into delivering models using best MLOps practices;

·Communicate final recommendations and support decision-making.
 

The talent that we are looking for:

·3+ years of Scripting with Python or Pyspark;

·Experienced with packages such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Dplyr, Ggplot2;

·3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a role closely related to data;

·Professional experience with Java, Scala, or Spark;

·Good level of communication in English.
