We are looking for

We are looking for a Data Scientist with:

• MSc, or PhD in Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or other quantitative background
• 1-5 years in a Data Scientist role
• Practical experience with common Data Science toolkits, such as R and Python
• Knowledge of Machine Learning models and how to implement them
• Skills to effectively communicate your findings and way of thinking
• Retail business knowledge (as a plus)

Qualifications

Professional experience

• 1-5 years in a Data Scientist role

Responsibilities

• Learn, implement and fine-tune machine learning models to be included in Inovretail’s software platform
• Leverage predictive modelling techniques on historical information
• Perform data and error analysis to improve models’ accuracy
• Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of analysis’ data
• Functional analysis of real business challenges
• Create and present ad-hoc analyses in a clear manner

Technical skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Practical experience with common Data Science toolkits, such as R and Python
• Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL
• Data acuity

Other requirements

• Retail business knowledge (as a plus)
• Good team working attitude with analytical and creative problem-solving abilities;
• Strong communication skills;

• Proficiency in English language
