To reinforce our team we are looking to fill the following position at our Lumiar site:

Data Scientist

The Data Scientist will provide excellent services to internal and external customers through the development of data products and analytical models to solve complex business problems and support the decision-making process, while contributing to empower the users within the organization to access and use data to advance the business. Research and introduce new models and technlogoies applicable to the daily business challenges and that can provide innovation and competititve advantage to the organization. 

As a Data Scientist you will be responsible for:

• data gathering and cleaning, data transformation, modelling and visualisation, and ultimately reporting results to the end-user;
• perform research in the areas of AI and Machine Learning and introduce technological innovation to the business.
   

We are looking for:

• You will need to have, at least, 2 years of demonstrated experience as a data scientist, and a Master Degree in Engineering, Science, Statistics or similar;
• High proficiency level in English;
• Furthermore, you will need to have experience on the following tools: Python, Machine Learning, SQL, Data visualisation.
• Knowledge of Big Data will be also valued.
