Description

Direct accountability for data architecture & engineering;
Direct accountability for data governance;
Design data engineering guiding principles & standards for data integration;
Identify e communicate data domains (and corresponding entities) and manage their usage;
Perform analysis to support data governance decisions;
Ensure tracking, monitoring and publishing of data governance scorecards;
Ensure all data domains have established data management objectives and plans;
Support the definition of data policies and standards;
Manage the implementation of data governance tools;
Manage resources & capabilities;
Act has technical Subject Matter Expert by setting direction to the Data Operational Governance function;
Establish training & knowledge portfolio for Data Operational Governance function

Profile

Bachelor / Master's in Computer Technology
+8 years track record in working with data & analytics expertise & technologies
Proven track record in project management and agile methodologies
Proven track record in data management and data integration
Process oriented individual with continuous improvement mindset
Expertise in data architecture, engineering & governance essential
Coaching the data operational governance team in data methodologies and practices
Ability to drive and socialize data topics with business stakeholders
Ability to shift discussion from conceptual (big picture) to operational (tactical) topics
Demonstrate logical and critical thinking
Collaborate with other teams as needed to resolve obstacles on data domains & data sources
Decision-making ability to reach and act on decisions
English is mandatory, French or Portuguese is a plus
