Triggerise builds digital platforms that motivate users - primarily young women and adolescent girls - to make positive choices. We work together with local communities and use nudges like reminders, discounts and reward points to encourage our users to access and use health products and services. We also support our users in becoming entrepreneurs and adding value to their economies.

Our main tech hub is situated in Porto, with a team of 20 composed of back end and BI developers, product owners, data analysts, and support officers. We have a centrally located office with fantastic river views, plus, we are very flexible when it comes to working from home! Our people are young and the culture is global and dynamic. The Job

The role of the Data Team Lead combines leading the data team, as well as using software tools to transform data into data sets and analyse and interpret past data.  Developing and maintaining features in our data warehouse and other platforms is a key part of the role in order to support the availability of data to the organisation.

• You’re responsible for coordinating the work of the data team, and are actively involved in cross team projects.
• You ensure that data is readily available from multiple sources.
• You are able to analyse our data, and any identified trends using tools you have developed and maintained.
• You take part in donor reporting.

About you

Data is second nature to you, you understand the importance of it, and we can best utilise it.  You have an eye for detail and the ability to design and develop tools in order to enhance our use of data.  Your people management skills are excellent, and you enjoy leading a team, and working with other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Experience working with complex data sets, and a real expertise when it comes to data and tools.
• A previous similar role, preferably with you in a team lead position
• Experience working within an agile environment
• You are a logical thinker that can translate real-world issues into technical solutions
