• DECSKILL CONNECT through which we provide our client with consulting services, as well as the implementation and management of information technology infrastructures.

We are searching for a Data Engineer to work in Porto (hybrid):

Responsibilities:

• Support the development, maintenance and test of several components
• Gather, document, examine and manage application requirements in an Agile environment
• Think critically about existing processes and suggest new ideas and improvements especially on the performance field

Main Technical Requirements:

• Technical stack : Scala, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Java, SQL, Linux
• Solid experience in software development, CI/CD, TDD.
• Optimization and performance improvement experience will be a plus
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts
• Source Code Management (Git)
• Build - XL Release
• Deploy - XL Deploy
• Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory)
