As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, scaling, and integrating big data-based platforms. Notwithstanding, you will also be engaged with the Data Science team in setting up and automating the Data Science models/algorithms for production use.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about Data and is excited to use different tools to provide data insight for further analysis and drive business decisions.

National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organizational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

You're Good At

• Object-oriented/object function scripting languages in Python
• Building and optimizing ETL / ELT data pipelines
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, as well as familiarity with one or more cloud-based data-warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery
• Experience with DBT (data build tool) is a plus
• Working with AWS cloud services in production (Cloudformation, API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SSM, SNS, SQS, Firehose, S3, SageMaker, etc)
• Working with raw data, structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
• Experience with source control, Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Deployment through CI Pipelines
• Supporting and working with BI and Analytics teams in a dynamic environment
• Able to collaborate and effectively pair program with other engineers
• Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or other agile frameworks is beneficial, but not Required
