ABOUT US

Dott will be Portugal's largest marketplace! We were born from a Joint Venture between Sonae and CTT, and we want to change the way people buy and sell online, and to help digitize Portuguese brands by opening their business to the world.

We have 17 product categories, and brands loved throughout the country, from the smallest to the bigger ones. We believe that there are excellent and uniquely positioned brands in Portugal!

Our goals for the next two years are to reach over five million products, from five thousand partners, as well as become Portugal’s reference marketplace.

Data Engineer - Porto Office

Working as a Data Engineer at Dott means developing with a state of the art stack built on GCP data solutions, GKE and Apache Airflow to deliver resilient ELT pipelines in a fast-paced, fail fast learn faster and fun environment. It also means helping people get the insights they are looking for and actively collaborate to reach the company’s goals, so: [“people driven”, “hands-on”, “KISS”] are some of the traits that we value, after a good sense of humour! 

You will also have:

• 1 to 3 years developing with Python, Java, Bash, etc..

• > 2 years SQL querying and tuning experience

• Solid DWH principles and designs

• Experience with GCP or AWS data solutions (Bigquery, PubSub, Redshift, ...)

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field
