WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Actively engage in the extract-transform-load process, connecting to multiple data sources and offloading the output into AWS.
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to support their data needs and help them use data to make informed decisions
• Design, build and maintain AWS Data Pipelines to take data from multiple sources and format into appropriate source for the next steps
• Manipulate and wrangle data at each stage of a pipeline
• Design and build the Data Management architecture using AWS Cloud and Open-Source components
• Expose to new challenges every sprint and help the team find the best solution for their data pipelines and model development flows in CI/CD.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Critical thinker, continuous learner, and team player
• Experience with software development in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong experience with SQL databases – setting up, loading, manipulating, and extracting data
• Strong Experience with ELT/ETL pipelines
• Good programming skills (object-oriented design, unit testing) with Python
• Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases – setting up, loading, manipulating, and extracting complex data
• Working with CI/CD (Git tools for code management)
• Experience in Infrastructure as code and monitoring tools
• Strong communication skills and presentation of their work
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or similar.

WHAT WILL BE A PLUS:

• Experience with DBT, Airflow and/or AWS Step Functions
• Experience with AWS Services (Lambda, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, Athena, SNS, SQS, etc.)
• AWS Certifications
• Experience with Snowflake
• Experience with Terraform
• Experience with DataDog
• Experience with Microservices.
