25Friday is looking for a Data Engineer - Python (Porto or Aveiro based) to help digital start-ups and scale-ups succeed.

Role:

We are looking for a Data Engineer - Python who is motivated to develop smart solutions using state-of-the-art technologies. You will integrate an extremely friendly, motivated and talented group. What you’ll do:

• Work for a start-up that is growing fast and scaling their product
• Work with the 25Friday OPO team to align best practices on technologies
• Work in a client that has a world-leading football analytics product

Who you are:

• 2+ years of experience in building scalable distributed production software
• Rich hands-on programming experience in Python 3 and libraries such as Pandas, Sanic (like Flask and Tornado), asyncio
• Knowledge in Apache Kafka, MongoDB, AuroraDB, AWS and Datadog
• Experience with an Agile way of working (Scrum and/or Kanban)
• Ability to work with various stakeholders from the Netherlands and Porto so your communication skills need to be awesome
