We are looking for a Data and Analytics Engineer, able to work closely with the big data DevOps team, to continuously improve and deliver high-quality cloud-based solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop, construct, and test, data warehouse architectures and data models.
Continuously align architectures with evolving business requirements.
Develop reports as requested.
Implement changes and improvements though programming language and tools.
Access the solution to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
Support the Solution Architect in the High Level Design (HLD) definition by collecting and sharing data insights.
Participate in the DevOps Scrum meetings, contributing to a better task definition, resource allocation and effort estimation.
Migrate data and data models, to the cloud, in the scope of solution migration projects (usually to AWS).
Build and maintain a state-of-the-art knowledge on data warehouse architectures, data models, and their evolution to the cloud.

Experience and Skill Requirements:

The right person will be highly technical and analytical, possess 5+ years of data and analytics engineering experience.
Technical degree (EQF-6) required; Computer Science or Math background is highly desired.
Experience in Oracle stack development, 5+ years required.
Experience, in a technical management role, in a software house and/or vendor highly desired.
Expertise in software integration, APIs definition, Databases, ETL mechanisms, data warehouse and analytics; highly desired.
Excellent knowledge of ODI, Golden Gate, BIP, Java, Oracle Database administration, Database Tuning and SQL; highly desired.
Experience in Oracle to AWS Migration, a bonus.
Experience in cloud computing platforms such as GCP or AWS, a bonus.
Certifications in Oracle, AWS, Agile or Scrum, a bonus.
Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) a bonus.
