What you will be doing:

• Analyze business and operational data to drive insights and engineering decisions
• Extract data from Warehouses into a pipeline and vice versa
• Develop deep business knowledge to drive better reporting
• Actively engage in the extract-transform-load process, connecting to multiple data sources via API and offloading the output into AWS
• Present information using data visualization techniques based on the business requirements
• Support the proposal of solutions and strategies to business challenges
• Collaborate with the business analysts and data engineers in the team to produce a timely and efficient result.

What we are looking for:

• Work experience as a Data Analyst or similar
• Experience using business intelligence tools and ETL or ELT tools 
• Experience in SQL
• Knowledge with cloud tools from AWS such as: cloud native databases, lambdas and cloud trail/watch
• Able to work with GitLab or similar tools for code management 
• Experience in consuming RESTful or SOAP APIs
• Good communications and influencing skills, with the ability to explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Critical thinker and able to provide constructive feedback 
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering or similar
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Experience with AWS
• Experience in Big Data projects
• Experience in the Tourism Industry
• T-shaped profile with strong data engineering skills
