What skills do you need to have?

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or related field.
• Proven experience in implementing and administering DLP solutions such as Symantec DLP, McAfee DLP, Digital Guardian, or others.
• Knowledge of information security regulations and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and the ability to apply these guidelines in configuring DLP solutions.
• Experience in digital forensics/security incident analysis;
• Familiarity with encryption technologies and data encryption techniques, as well as methods for preventing data leakage across different communication channels.
• Excellent analytical skills, the ability to solve complex problems related to information security, and proactive involvement in preventing data loss incidents.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

• Ensure the effectiveness and proper functioning of DLP policies.
• Develop and update policies, monitoring rules, and corrective actions based on organizational needs and compliance with applicable regulations;
• Continuously monitor data flows across the organization, including endpoints, servers, emails, data transfers, and mobile device usage, to identify and mitigate data loss risks.
• Perform detailed analysis of security incidents related to data loss, investigate root causes, and provide recommendations to prevent future breaches.
• Collaborate with compliance, IT, and security operations teams to ensure the effective implementation of DLP policies and compliance with internal and external guidelines.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on data security best practices and compliance with DLP policies, ensuring user awareness and adherence.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, threats, and best practices in DLP technologies and information security by attending training, conferences, and engaging with specialized communities.
