Monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorised or illegal activity;
Test and evaluate security products;
Identify potential weaknesses and implement measures, such as firewalls and encryption;
Investigate security alerts and provide incident response.

requisitos/requirements
Good level of knowledge in network fundamentals, for example, OSI Stack, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), SMTP;
Good level of understanding in the approach threat actors take to attacking a network, phishing, port scanning, web application attacks, DDoS, lateral movement;
Experience or demonstrable knowledge in log analysis and PCAP analysis;
Knowledge in Windows and/or Linux operating systems, how to investigate them for signs of compromise;
Basic understanding for Cloud architecture and how an attacker can utilize these platforms;
Foundational level of scripting knowledge is desirable;
Proofed experience working in a SOC environment or analyzing system and network logs for security and configuration issues;
Experience utilizing enterprise security technologies such as SIEM/SOAR, NGAV/EDR, Vulnerability Scanners, Threat Intelligence Platforms, etc;
Understanding of enterprise environments, specifically cloud-based and hybrid cloud environments;
Familiarity with common cyber intrusion frameworks such as Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model, MITRE ATT&CK;
Hands-on troubleshooting, analysis, and technical expertise to resolve incidents and/or service requests;
Strong written communication skills and the ability to articulate technical security analysis to a non-technical audience;
English speaker.
