Job brief
We are looking for a Cobol  Developer to join our IT department and build functional applications and websites.

Responsabilities

·         To code, debug and unit test simple to moderate programs. This includes new development or modifications to existing programs on the Basic Accounting System (BAS)

·         Compiling designs for simple programs

·         Investigation of user requests to determine and correct the root cause of incidents

·         Practical experience in the Cobol programming language and tools that are used in the Mainframe environment.

·         Takes responsibility for the systems testing function of all systems change requests allocated to him/her.

·         This includes new development or modifications to existing programs

·         Be capable of designs for simple programs

·         Excellent proficiency of Cobol

·         3+ years’ Cobol development
