We are looking for a Cobol Developerto join our *IT department and build functional applications and websites.

Responsabilities

• To code, debug and unit test simple to moderate programs. This includes new development or modifications to existing programs on the Basic Accounting System (BAS)
• Compiling designs for simple programs
• Investigation of user requests to determine and correct the root cause of incidents
• Practical experience in the Cobol programming language and toolsthat are used in the Mainframe environment.
• Takes responsibility for the systems testing functionof all systems change requests allocated to him/her.
• This includes new development or modifications to existing programs
• Be capable of designs for simple programs
• Excellent proficiency of Cobol
